What is wellness coaching?
A wellness coach can help you achieve your health & wellness goals. This can include nutrition, exercise, supplementation, weight loss, stress-relief, meditation, productivity, and everything in between. A coach is a trained, experienced professional but not a doctor or therapist. They cannot replace proper medical advice. However, they can be a great supplement to their care. A good coach can help you establish a health plan for your goals, and help you follow this plan with accountability.
Does everyone follow the same program?
Nope. Everyone is different, so we structure the coaching around your needs and your goals. We do not have one food plan, one design or a one-size-fits-all approach. Let’s do what works for you.
What is Bulletproof?
You’ve probably heard of Bulletproof Coffee or butter coffee. Bulletproof is a coffee and supplement company, a philosophy, and a spectrum of eating diet. Click here for more information on Bulletproof for beginners. Even with books, charts & blogs, most people find they want a little extra guidance figuring out what works for them.
What if I don’t drink coffee?
Okay. That’s fine. No coffee required. Coffee has polyphenols, a mental & performance boost and is a great carrier for healthy fats in your diet. There are plenty of other ways to get healthy fat into your diet. I don’t require anyone to eat or not eat anything. I have suggestions as to what I have seen and experienced working for others, but you (or we) have to figure out what works best for you and makes you look and feel your best.
How do I know if coaching is right for me?
To determine whether you could benefit from coaching, the first step is figuring out what you would like to accomplish in coaching. If you have a fairly clear idea of the desired outcome, a coaching partnership can be a useful tool for developing a strategy for how to achieve that outcome with greater ease.
Since coaching is a partnership, ask yourself whether collaboration, other viewpoints, or new perspectives are valued. Also, ask yourself whether you are ready to devote the time and the energy to making real changes. If the answer is yes, then coaching may be a beneficial way for you to grow and develop.
How many sessions do I need to do?
Most people benefit from a minimum of 10-12 weekly sessions per goal. Some people continue with a coach for years, some people “spot clean.” I do recommend at least 10 sessions to really gain the benefit of a coach getting to know you & really help you make some positive change.
How often do you do coaching sessions?
One hour every week is ideal, but this is your plan, so we can make it work around your life and your budget.
